About
My name is Rachel Alker
Born in the UK I moved to Canada when I was nine and that fostered a love of the outdoors and nature. I moved back to England in 1995 and had a family. While my son was growing I taught myself how to make stained glass and spent the next twelve years perfecting my craft. In 2016 I completed my degree in Design and Technology at Edge Hill University.
The workshop in Lancashire is my happy place were I am creating beautiful things out of wood, glass or resin, making custom things for my campervan, or fibre glassing my hovercraft, it is where i go to relax and reset.
